HI EVERYONE!
I have now returned again to Wroclaw for the beginning of my 23rd 2nd semester teaching “year” at our University of Economics, and the completion of my 45th year as an
educator. I am very happy to be back in Wroclaw, and my contact and work with each of you is a big reason for this excitement. If we have not as yet already met, I am sending you “Greetings !!”,
with the hope and expectation that we will soon meet.
This message is being sent to you to personally invite you to ( again ) attend this Thursday’s yearly organizational meeting for my 10 weekly
“Volunteer ‘English’ Conversation” classes, to be held again this year at our University of Economics. The classes are free, with no attendance taken, and no testing and marks
given.
At the class organizational meeting this coming Thursday, February 21st, from 3:00 - 4:30 PM, in building 1-P, the following activities will occur :
· Students will select the days and hours for which the 10 weekly conversation classes will meet.
· Students will have the opportunity to give written suggestions for the weekly discussion topics for the conversation classes.
· I will introduce this year’s student projects for which students are invited to participate. There will be displays, and also sign-up sheets and materials to take for most of the
projects.
· Representatives of the “Camp America” and “Camp Leaders” summer 2013 programs in America will be present to briefly speak about their programs.
· A large collection ( 200 + ) of recent American “economics / business” magazines will be available for students to take, at no cost.
I look forward to seeing, speaking and meeting with each of you at this meeting on Thursday. Soon after this Thursday’s meeting, I will send to each of you the final results of this meeting,
by e-mail, showing the meeting schedule of the days, times, and campus meeting rooms for the 10 weekly classes, and the weekly discussion topics. I hope to see each of you at this
Thursday’s class organizational meeting, and at the weekly conversational “English” classes to follow it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions ( Contact methods are
shown below. ). See you soon !!
