Artur Klimek – profesor uczelni w Katedrze Międzynarodowych Stosunków Gospodarczych Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu. Doktor habilitowany nauk ekonomicznych. Zainteresowania badawcze koncentruje na bezpośrednich inwestycjach zagranicznych, korporacjach transnarodowych, szczególnie tych pochodzących z gospodarek wschodzących, handlu międzynarodowym, finansach międzynarodowych. Tematy najnowszych prac dotyczą: offshoringu, automatyzacji (robotic process automation, RPA), nowoczesnych usług biznesowych (business process outsourcing BPO/shared services centers SSC).

Wielokrotnie nagradzany za pracę naukową. Stypendysta Fundacji na rzecz Nauki Polskiej. Kierownik projektów badawczych finansowanych przez Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego oraz Narodowe Centrum Nauki. Ekspert Narodowego Centrum Nauki, recenzent Narodowej Agencji Wymiany Akademickiej, Fundacji na rzecz Nauki Polskiej. Regularnie bierze udział w międzynarodowych konferencjach i publikuje w uznanych czasopismach z tzw. listy filadelfijskiej.

W ostatnim czasie bierze udział w dyskusji o kształceniu w szkołach doktorskich w ramach European Doctoral programs Association in Management & Business Administration (EDAMBA) oraz European University Association-Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE).

Ceniony przez studentów wykładowca przedmiotów: International business, International finance, International corporate finance, Emerging economies in international business. Posiada także wieloletnie doświadczenie biznesowe w zakresie umiędzynarodowienia przedsiębiorstw oraz nowoczesnych usług biznesowych.

Professor of Wrocław University of Economics at the Department of International Economic Relations. Doctor habilitatus in economics. Research ares: foreign direct investment, transnational corporations (especially those from emerging economies), international trade, international finance. Topics of the recent research: offshoring, automation (robotic process automation, RPA), advanced business services (business process outsourcing BPO/shared services centers SSC).

Awarded frequently for scientific work. Holder of the scholarship by the Foundation for Polish Science. The principal investigator of research projects financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Science Center. Expert of the National Science Center, reviewer of Polish National Agency for Economic Research, Foundation for Polish Science. He regularly participates in international conferences and publishes in internationally recognized journals.

Recently participates in the discussion on doctoral education within European Doctoral programs Association in Management & Business Administration (EDAMBA) and European University Association-Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE).

A lecturer of the following modules: International business, International finance, International corporate finance, Emerging economies in international business. He also has many years of business experience in the internationalization of enterprises nad advanced business services.
