What’s the best way to learn about your University? Explore!

• The game is full of challenges and riddles which will guide you around the WUEB Campus and its most interesting places. 
• Individual players or teams of up to 3 persons may participate in the game. 
• The game is available in English, Spanish, Russian, German and Polish.
• The game begins on 5th October and lasts until 19th October, 1:00 pm. 
• The results of the game will be announced during the Integration Day, (U, W Building), on 19th October 2023
• After completing all tasks bring the answers to the Library patio between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. 
• The winners will be announced, and prizes drawn among the participants, at 2:00 PM.
  
• The winners will receive small prizes and gifts.

ID Quiz is a game in which teams answer trivia questions together. It may well be a contest but what matters most in the ID Quiz is fun and having a good time. The format of the game is similar to that of the popular pub quizzes. 

• Each team comes up with their name.
• The teams receive answer sheets.
• Three five-point rounds are played, each round containing questions from a separate category.
• One point is awarded to a team for each correct answer.
• After each completed round, the teams swap their answer sheets and mark the cards of their fellow contestants according to the answers given by the quizmaster. After marking and giving the score, the answer sheets return to the original teams.
• In the event of a tie, extra questions are decisive (tie-breakers).
• The use of mobile phones, electronic devices, books or other sources of knowledge is forbidden during the game.
• In case of doubt concerning answers or scores, the quizmaster’s decision is final and decisive.

One of the events of the Integration Day will be the Draughts Tournament.

It is a great opportunity not only to meet other enthusiasts of the game of draughts (known as checkers in American English) but also to practise quick strategic and tactical decision-making while spending time together in the spirit of friendly rivalry.

In order to join the Tournament, all you need to do is show up in the Impel Chillout Room (U Building, ground floor). The number of contestants is limited to 16, so don’t miss your chance! The winner of the Draughts Tournament will receive a prize.

The rules of the game are simple and clear:

1. Random pairs: Each player draws a number from 1 to 16 which allocates them to the tournament bracket.
2. Time limit: Each game will last 2 minutes only, so you need to be fast and clever!
3. Result of the game: The play in a given round ends when a player wins within the time limit. If the game is not won before the time ends, then the player who has more pieces remaining on the board is the winner.
4. Draw: In the event of a draw, a one-minute tie-breaker game is played. If the tie-breaker does not determine the result, the winner will be established by a draw.
5. Rounds: The Tournament consists of four rounds. After each round, the winners of their games meet in the next stage of the tournament bracket.
6. Winner: The player who wins all his/her games becomes the final victor of the Tournament.
