“Europe in the Face of New Challenges”
Karpacz, Poland, 6-8 September 2022
The 31st edition of the Economic Forum - the largest political and economic conference in Central and Eastern Europe will once again be held in Karpacz, bringing together leaders
of political, social and economic life as well as representatives of the media, academic and non-governmental organizations from the region and the world. The organizer of the Forum is the
Institute for Eastern Studies Foundation, which since its inception has been working for interstate cooperation, especially in Central and Eastern Europe.
Last year's jubilee edition of the Forum under the motto: "Europe in Search of Leadership" gathered as many as 4,350 distinguished guests who, during debates and behind-the-scenes meetings, focused
on the challenges arising from the specificity of life in the post-Covid era. As every year, awards were given to the Man, Company and NGO of the Year.
The plan of the 31st edition of the Economic Forum, known as the Central European Davos, promises to be equally interesting. The organizers expect to hold over 300 debates on economic development,
the future of climate and other important socio-political issues related to this year's motto of the Forum: “Europe in the Face of New Challenges”. The program of the event will include permanent
elements related to the already well-established thematic paths, such as the Healthcare Forum, the Forum of Regions, the Carpathian Europe and the Polish Economic Forum.
The Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is a partner of this year's edition of the Economic Forum in Karpacz.
