The new academic year begins in a few days, unfortunately again overshadowed by the pandemic. The number of COVID-19 cases is growing dynamically. That is why, for the sake of your health and
safety, we have decided to switch to remote lectures at full-time and part-time studies. The lectures gather together more people than the classes. They are therefore a likely source of the spread
of infections. The decision was difficult, but we are confident we made the right choice. We increase the chance of a maximum delay or even limitation of our University's lockdown within our
possibilities. We do not want to go back to what we experienced in the last academic year.
We inform you now in advance, although formal decisions with details will be published in the coming days.
We encourage employees and students, who have no medical contraindications,
to
take the COVID-19 vaccine. The Rector's appeal is available
HERE.
