We are pleased to announce the success of PhD students of the Department of Ecological Economics –
Mariusz Maziarz and
Aleksander Ostapiuk, who has been awarded
the European Philosophy of Science Association (EPSA) Fellowship.
The award is a one-month internship at a leading research institution in Western Europe. PhD students received a scholarship to cover travel, accommodation and subsistence costs.
Congratulations and we wish you further successes!
The EPSA launched the Fellowship initiative in 2015 as part of our ongoing effort to promote the European tradition in philosophy of science. The aim of the EPSA in offering these awards is to
provide junior philosophers working in Central and Eastern Europe with the opportunity to visit a leading research institution in Western Europe. For the purposes of these awards, "junior" is
understood as philosophers of science who are in the last six months of their PhD, or have been awarded their PhD no more than five years prior to the application deadline.
