We are pleased to announce that a team of employees from the

Artur Rot, PhD obtained funding for the project, which will be implemented as part of the
prestigious Horizon2020 program (Twinning Program). The aim of the
HeartBIT 4.0 project -
Application of innovative Medical Data Science for heart
diseases is to conduct a series of trainings, workshops, consultations and to develop materials for employees from the Department and Clinic of Heart Diseases of Wroclaw Medical
University in the area of application of modern
Big Data technologies,
Data Science techniques and machine learning in medicine and the security of medical data. Our University
will fulfill the role of "Excellence Partner" in a consortium of 5 Universities from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic (Wrocław Medical University, Wrocław University of Economics, Technische
Universität Dresden, Universität Leipzig and Vysoká Škola Ekonomická v Praze). The project implementation period is 36 months, and its budget is about 788,000 euro (including about 62 000 euro for
Wrocław University of Economics).
