10th Jubilee Ball of the Rector of Wrocław University of Economics

In the carnival climate, on February 16, 2019, the 10th Jubilee Ball of the Rector of Wrocław University of Economics took place. His Magnificence Rector, prof. Andrzej Kaleta was the host of the ball.

The idea of integration meetings and mutual party of university sympathizers: the rectors of friendly universities, graduates, business representatives and employees has proven itself once again. The initiator and originator of such events at our University was prof. Bogusław Fiedor, rector of the Wrocław University of Economics in 2005 - 2012, who, together with his wife, participates every year in these dance meetings.

During this year's jubilee edition of the Rector's Ball the guests enjoyed the show of the extremely talented vocalist Aleksander Martinez from the Philippines. The artist presented a diverse repertoire - from opera works to jazz music standards and popular hits of Polish performers. The scale of the voice and the possibilities of interpretation as well as the ability to encourage everyone to have fun together ensured that the artist would be the star of the evening. The KRAMER Group inspired the dancing activities on the dance floor.

The tradition of Rector's balls is auction of artworks, the income of which is intended for people or institutions in need of support. This year, financial support will go to children from the Care and Treatment Center in Jaszkotle and for the rehabilitation of a former employee of our University, struggling with multiple sclerosis.

Mutual fun, talks, tasty and exquisite dishes prepared under the supervision of Kinga Kasperska, the Event Director of Nelson catering company, completed this eventful event.
