International Cooperation Center has a great pleasure to inform that The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) Initial
Accreditation Committee (IAC) reviewed the Eligibility Application from Wroclaw University of Economics and voted to accept the application allowing our University to enter the
business accreditation process.
As a part of this process, an AACSB volunteer - Prof. Dr Han G. van
Dissel, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business at University of Amsterdam has been appointed and agreed to serve as a mentor for Wrocław University of Economics.
The goal of the accreditation process is to develop a mission and a strategic plan for implementing the mission while closing any existing gaps between conditions at the school and
the accreditation standards. Our mentor will work with us on identifying any activities that must be undertaken to satisfy the accreditation standards and processes.
In addition to the mentor, an AACSB staff liaison, Marine Condette, Manager,
Accreditation and Member Services is assigned to our school to assist with the development and implementation of a plan to achieve initial accreditation.
Wrocław University of Economics finds decision of the AACSB Initial Accreditation Committee being a great distinction and opportunity to cooperate with experienced mentor and staff
liason to implement and sustain AACSB standards at our university.
