Wroclaw University of Economics hosts participants of the 4th edition
of the international summer school on Data Science. During the inauguration of the school, the vice-rector for
international cooperation, prof. dr hab. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska warmly welcomed our guests.
Nearly 50 students from 12 countries participate in this year's school. As every year, classes are conducted by an international
group of teachers: from Leipzig, Dresden, our University, as well as business instructors. During the course, students learn methods of data analysis, machine learning and selected Big
Data tools. The educational program is supplemented with various forms of free time spending, such as Wrocław
sightseeing, recreational activities and a bus excursion. The project is under the patronage of professors Bogdan Franczyk and Leszek Maciaszek, and
the realisation is managed by dr Ryszard Zygała together with a group of students from our university with the leader of the group, Karolina Sterc.
